Parks & Green Spaces

Kidderminster boasts an abundance of parks and green spaces, for the locals to enjoy and visit all year round. These areas provide diverse opportunities for people of various ages and abilities to relish nature and local wildlife in our historical town, whilst having the opportunity to partake in a wide range of community events throughout the year.

Please note that toilet facilities are not provided as part of the park booking. If required, it is the responsibility of the booking party to arrange these facilities through an external service provider. Details of any such arrangements must be provided to the Council before your booking is confirmed.

Broadwaters Mill Park

Address: Stourbridge Rd, Kidderminster DY10 2UL.

Broadwaters Mill Park is an area of 2.022 hectares located on the outskirts of Kidderminster. The park can be accessed via Wolverhampton Road and Norton Road.

Facilities and Attractions

  • Car parking
  • Picnic Areas
  • Grade 2 listed building as a park shelter
  • A water course running through the park
  • Herbaceous beds

Part of Broadwaters Park is the venue for the Broadwaters Annual Fair and Christmas Fair.

Baxter Gardens Park

Baxter Gardens is a small park area off the main A456 Birmingham Road, accessible from either Hurcott Road or Birmingham Road. The park is situated behind the Kidderminster Tennis Club facility.

Facilities and Attractions

  • Enclosed Children’s Play Area
  • Kickabout area with goal posts
  • Enclosed dog exercise area
  • Outdoor fitness area
