Kidderminster Remembrance Service & Parade
The annual Remembrance Sunday Service & Parade is one of the major civic events organised and led by Kidderminster Town Council. This significant occasion brings the local community together to honour those who gave their lives and to reflect on the sacrifices made for peace and freedom.
A Local Tradition
Each Year, Remembrance Sunday provides an opportunity for residents of all ages to come together, reflect and pay their respects to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice and remember those who continue to suffer and sacrifice to this day. It is a cherished tradition in Kidderminster and an important occasion for the community to collectively pay our respects.
Commemorations begin with a parade and short outdoor service at the St Mary and All Saints War Memorial, followed by the sounding of the Last Post, a two-minute silence and the laying of wreaths. The congregation will then move inside St Mary and All Saints Church for the indoor service, before proceedings conclude with a final parade and military salute.

Rolling Road closures throughout
10.15am – Parade participants gather at Bateman’s Yard Car Park
10.30am – Parade begins march to St Mary and All Saints Church
10:50am – Service takes place at St Mary and All Saints Church War Memorial (outdoor)
11am – 2 minutes silence followed by laying of wreaths
~11.10am – Service inside St Mary and All Saints Church begins (indoor)
~12pm – Service ends and Parade begins for return procession/march
~12.15pm – Salute & return to Bateman’s Yard Car Park
