Working with the Dementia Action Alliance

On Thursday 13 December, Kidderminster Dementia Action Alliance worked to help raise awareness of the ‘dementia friendly’ services available across the Town. The Dementia Awareness Event took place in Starbucks Coffee, Weavers Wharf and included representatives from numerous services across Kidderminster, ranging from the Police, Fire Service and Triangle Day Care Services. The pop-up event provided a great opportunity for carers to find out more information on the support services available to them.

Councillor Martin Stooke, Mayor of Kidderminster said

“I am delighted that the Town Council is able to support this event and I would like to thank all the staff at Starbucks for making us so welcome. It is important that we work to share information with the community on the best services available to people with dementia.”
