On 1st April 2019, the operation and management of Kidderminster Town Hall was officially transferred to Kidderminster Town Council from Wyre Forest District Council.
The Town Council has taken over the day to day management of the hall, including running events, hiring out the hall and hosting their ever-popular weddings. Kidderminster’s popular annual Youth Makes Music event has become the responsibility of the Town Council. The Town Council will also be responsible for the future development of the Town Hall complex.
Within the transfer, the Town Mayor has also offered a warm welcome to the six employees based at the Town Hall who were transferred to the Kidderminster Town Council from Wyre Forest District Council.
