“This concert, which will be free to young people under 20, continues our tradition of performing choral music and making the arts accessible to the people of Kidderminster, Wyre Forest, and beyond. We are proud to bring high-quality choral music to our community, with Elgar once serving as a past president of our society.”
🎨 The Creative Cultural Collaborators – The Museum of Carpet & H.E.L.P. – Awarded £346.50 to help support an educational tour showcasing historic carpet-making equipment and tools.

Charity) commented: The Creative Cultural Collaborators are delighted to have been awarded funds from the Kidderminster Town Council Cultural Events Grant with which we will be hosting an exciting and innovative event of historical heritage and culture , arts and craft, music and food for under-represented groups experiencing multiple disadvantages including mental ill health, homelessness, rough sleeping, abuse, isolation and loneliness. Kidderminster Carpet Museum, H.E.L.P. Charity and Kidderminster Town on Tour Project are all working together to organise arts and learning workshops, a tour, historical talks and discussion, and most important of all enjoyment at the Museum of Carpet. “This Event will get people off the streets and out of their houses and provide an opportunity to take part in an immersive cultural experience that would not normally be accessible to them”.
