New Mayor for Kidderminster 2019

Last Wednesday, at the annual meeting of Kidderminster Town Council, Councillor David Ross was installed as Mayor of Kidderminster for the coming year. Councillor Sarah Rook will hold the position of Deputy Mayor.

Over 200 guests, many Mayors and dignitaries from the surrounding area watched Councillor Ross being invested with his chain and robes at a packed Town Hall.

Councillor Ross, who recently retired from Shipleys and is a Councillor for Aggborough and Spennells said;

“It is a real privilege to become Kidderminster Town Mayor. I am incredibly proud to be representing the town and the wonderful people who live here. I will be doing everything I can to showcase the facilities, local businesses and charities we have here in Kidderminster”

Councillor Ross’s Mayoral charities for this year will be the Boys Brigade; Blue Cross; and Crackerjacks Trust.
