New Chief Executive
Kidderminster Town Council has announced the appointment of its first Chief Executive and Responsible Financial Officer.
Councillor David Ross, Leader of Kidderminster Town Council who chaired the staffing committee which carried out the recruitment process said:
“We were pleased that there was such a strong field of candidates who were interested in coming to work for the town council.
Lee Jakeman has a wealth of local government experience in town councils, and I am delighted that we have been able to attract someone of his calibre to become the first Chief Executive of Kidderminster Town Council.”
Mr Jakeman added:
“I am delighted to be offered the role.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity, and I am looking forward to starting the position and working with town councillors, local organisations, businesses and those interested in future of the town.”
