An Unforgettable Evening: £4,763 Raised at the Mayor of Kidderminster’s Charity Ball for MND

A huge thank you to everyone who attended the Mayor of Kidderminster’s Charity Ball on Friday 7th March 2025, held at the stunning Spring Grove House within West Midlands Safari Park. We are delighted to announce that a fantastic £4,763.33 was raised at this event alone, with more funds still coming in to support this incredible cause!

We are incredibly grateful to the businesses and individuals who supported the event in so many ways – from attending the ball to generously donating raffle and auction prizes, sponsoring the Mayor’s Ball Brochure, and, of course, those who bought raffle tickets and bid on auction items to raise vital funds. Your generosity is making a real difference for those living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

For those who may not be familiar, MND is a rapidly progressing and fatal neurodegenerative disease that affects the motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord, leading to muscle weakness, paralysis, and loss of speech and movement. The MND Association (MNDA) provides crucial support for families affected by MND, funds essential research into better treatments, and works towards finding a cure.

Thanks to your incredible support, we are one step closer to making a difference for those in need. Let’s continue to raise awareness and funds for this important cause! 💙
