Kidderminster is preparing for a special anniversary in October 2026. The town will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Twinning Charter with the city of Husum in Germany.
A delegation from Husum including the Bürgervorsteher (Council Chair) Robert Koch will be visiting, and the Town Council is organising a celebration concert and a Sunday Lunch — open to all.
The Concert will be at Kidderminster Town Hall at 7pm on Saturday, 24th October.
It will feature a range of local talent, including the Coppice Shanty Crew, Kidderminster Valentines Choir, Steve Worley of Beatlesque, folk group Farefeld, and singers Jasmine Brick and Zachary Ferreira.
