2nd July – Pets as Therapy – visit with Mayor of Bewdley
3rd July – Onestop, Horsefair – Store Opening
4th July – Borrington Bash – The Mayor was delighted to take part in this year’s Borrington Bash, an annual community event that Cllr Miah has long supported alongside the Offmore and Comberton Action Group (OCAG). With free bouncy castles and face painting for children, food and information stalls, games and plenty more, the event brought local residents together for a wonderful day of community, fun and connection. The Mayor was pleased to join OCAG and local residents in celebrating this much-loved annual community event.

7th July – Meeting with Dr Masithokoze Moyo – The Mayor met with Dr Moyo to discuss the potential of a community newsletter
8th July – Holy Trinity School – Prizegiving Ceremony
8th July – Hartlebury Castle Trust – The Deputy Mayor, Councillor John Beckingham, attended the Summer Hospitality Event
10th July – 100th Birthday Celebration at Foley Grange – Mayors MIAH and HARVEY (Mayor of Bewdley) both attended the 100th birthday celebrations of Joan ROBERTS on 10th July. This was held at Foley Grange, Kidderminster where family ,friends and staff made a special day of events. She received many gifts and a beautiful cake. Her card from the King and Queen is on its way. Joan enjoyed relating many stories of her life .She was in the WAAF during WWII, became a mother to three children and married a wonderful husband, Ted. They both enjoyed sailing undertaking many adventures in their mid-lives. Born in a Bham in 1926 she moved to several midlands areas but always loved the Town of Bewdley where she lived for 30 years. Congratulations Joan. See you for your next party in 2027.
