Kidderminster Town Council was honoured to organise Wyre Forest’s Armed Forces Flag Flying Ceremony this year. The occasion is dedicated to remembering, recognising, and honouring all those who have served, and continue to serve, in the Armed Forces.
The Mayor of Kidderminster, Councillor Doug Hine, led the proceedings and proudly raised the Armed Forces flag at 10.30am as a symbol of the community’s united support and appreciation of the Armed Forces.
The Mayor said:
“ A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on Monday 23rd June, to commemorate the start of Armed Forces Week by attending the Armed Forces Flag Flying Ceremony.
We’d also like to thank Wyre Forest District Council for hosting the ceremony at Wyre Forest House.”
