Kidderminster Christmas Lights Switch On 2025

Each Winter, the town introduces exciting new events such as choirs, concerts, and carol services.
Christmas 2024
Lights Switch-On
Kidderminster’s Christmas Lights Switch-On for 2024, brought you entertainment from local dance groups, arts and crafts, face painting, local live music acts, street food, circus skills, a funfair, a fire breather, Santa and some of his helpers and prize giveaways!
The event took place on Saturday 16th November. Thank you to all who supported and attended this event!

Santa in the Town 2024
The Swan Shopping Centre played host to Santa on Saturday 7th December.
Every child who visited Santa received a FREE gift 🎁
Brought to you by Kidderminster Town Council with support from Wyre Forest District Council and the Swan Shopping Centre.
🎵 At midday, festive tunes were enjoyed by All, from GR-VIII Men in Harmony, who raised money for Midlands Air Ambulance! 🚁
There was also a quiet session for children with sensory requirements, allowing everyone to enjoy the holiday spirit in a comfortable setting.
Santa in the Town 2023
Santa in the Town 2023 took place on Saturday 9th December 2023. Kidderminster Town Council were able to hold this event thanks to The Swan Shopping Centre, Kidderminster, for generously offering an area within their venue.

Lights Switch-On
Our seasonal 2023 Christmas Light Switch-On saw entertainment from local live music acts, local dance groups, face painting, arts and crafts, circus skills, street performers, street food and a funfair. Kidderminster Town Council, Kidderminster Town Hall and Kidderminster BID in partnership to bring entertainment to the people of Kidderminster.
